Aloha all...
Here it is almost the end of September, and I have about three more pages of Artmails for that month. On the 14th, I flew to California to help my sister move into her new home so there are some California photos to come. First I'll put some of the Kaua'i photos on this page.
On Labor Day, Clifford took a "busman's holiday" and we went out to Polihale in his pickup. I took some photos through the windshield on the way...

Two days later, I took some photos of my little front yard project at 15B. I decided to keep the 3/4-inch plywood platform that I used in the Polivan instead of making four bookshelves out of it. I had to buy a pallet when I had boxes shipped from the mainland. I decided that I could store the pallet under the platform in my little patio room. I later put three coats of polyurethane on both sides of the plywood platform/deck.

On the 12th we had the annual Aloha Doug bash at a little pavilion at Kekaha Beach Park.

Parnell was the chef and cooked the grinds...It was ono...That's a marlin sausage, flavored with Portugese sausage flavoring, but the meat is marlin and it is packed in deer intestine. It was a real surprise...very good.

Doug and Natascha left for Australia and I left for California later on the 14th. Photos to come in the next Artmail.
