Tashi gave me a ride to the airport on July 4th.

Scott MacDonald, who had already arrived on Rarotonga a few days before, met me at the airport. After I got situated and rented a Kawasaki, we went to Metua's in Avarua for one of Nannette's fine lunches.

Rarotonga is five miles long and four mile wide....20 miles in circumference.

In some areas instead of sand one finds coral pieces ground smooth by wave action.
