Constitution Day in the Cook Islands is August 4th, but the celebratrion begins on the Friday before the week that contains the 4th and ends the Sunday after....10 days. I was in the Telecom Center working on getting a phone line so that I could get online. I missed the start of the parade, but because it is necessarily a short one, I could catch up to take some photos. Scott shot videos.

The day before the parade, there was a change of government which occurred when Sir Geoffrey Henry (the son of the Sir Henry in the cemetary), was voted out as Prime Minister by Parliament. The signs are protesting "Joe" who was voted in as new Prime Minister by Parliament.
