Art and Soul Gallery - Hanapepe 1989
In 1989, Boomerang Art moved to Hanapepe on the westside of Kauai where he met many artists including Kolo Kai Fu and Lincoln Young, Hawaiian woodcarvers. Shortly thereafter, Boomerang Art began painting boomerangs for sale in the Art and Soul gallery. From that point on, the Boomerang Art story takes off. Boomerang Art has had no formal art training ... which leads to the question, what kind of training did he have?
Art was born a Leo in 1933! Ventura, California was his birthplace and there is where he lived his first 13 years going to public schools, hunting, fishing, camping, and putting in a lot of beach time bodysurfing and enjoying other surfside sports.
