These are not the web pages I've been working on since returning to Kaua'i. There is just too much catching up to do which is keeping me from finishing those pages, so I'm just going to put up some representative photos of the places I visited. Later on, I will be doing my website somewhat differently...this is just a preview, let's say.
I left Rarotonga early in the morning of September 8th and arrived in Auckland, New Zealand on the 9th ...the same day. I had decided to spend my few days in New Zealand in Rotorua about three hours away by bus. Rotorua is famous for it's volcanic hot pools and geysers. It is also a very spiritual place and a Maori cultural center.

Later that morning, I took the Magic of the Maori shuttle bus to where most of the pools and geysers are...in the Whakarewarewa Thermal Area. Here are some of the photos (with no explanation).
