The easternmost point on the Australian continent is found at Byron Bay.

I walked out to the end of the trail. I took this photo with the zoom then turned around and took this photoof the lighthouse that I was heading for:

Earlier, before I even got to where I could see the point, I climbed the stairs to that viewing platform on that rock and shot photos to stitch back toward Byron Bay town, beach, and bay. As you can tell, it was a very windy morning.

The beach you see on the left looked quite different two days before when I first arrived.
