The theme of the 2007 Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade and Celebration was "Stars."

The parade happened on Saturday. I snapped a lot of photos through the windshield while driving to Santa Barbara the back way on scenic Highway 192, then walking through Alameda Park, where the festival was held, and then walking down State Street to where I was able to stand in the shade and shoot photos of the parade. These photos start with the leaders of the parade...the magic of the mimes...
