This is the view from my sleeping place. "Yellow daisys" are blooming where there used to be sugar cane. Many people see King Kong's head in the ridge. But I see Bushman, the gorilla who died in the Chicago Zoo about 1950. Bushman.

About 1/4 mile from Polihale State Park, a pipe had broken in the cane field and flooded the road. Tourists drove out this far and had to turn back because the puddle was too deep. Locals knew the way around by using other cane roads.
