A lot has been going on and slowly, but surely, I will get photos posted. My friend Doug, the Wildduck Couchsurfer from Nimbin, Australia, arrived on schedule on the 5th.

As we were driving through Waimea, a shout rang out for Doug from Parnell. We stopped for a delicious Hawaiian Hamburger and to talk story.

August 10th is Kolo's birthday. I took four photos that day...the bean and onion plants and an anole then I spent time putting Kolo photos here.

I'll put up the Wailua River cruise to Fern Grotto photos up later. Francesco, a couchsurfer from Naples, Italy arrived at the bus stop near 15B on the 15th for an afternoon visit. Doug stayed in 15B preparing ono food for the fateful fishing trip the next day while Francesco and I drove to the end of the road to Koke'e. Here are the photos:
